LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Several schools in the Louisville area were recently recognized as some of the top schools in Kentucky.

U.S. News & World Report reviewed 225 Kentucky high schools and ranked them based on core subjects like reading, writing, math, science and social studies.

Three Jefferson County Public Schools made the list of the top ten best high schools in the Bluegrass State.

DuPont Manual High School , located at 120 West Lee Street in Old Louisville, topped the list once again this year.

Another JCPS magnet school followed closely behind. Third place was awarded to the J. Graham Brown School , known as The Brown School, located at 546 South First Street in downtown Louisville.
