ROSEBURG, Ore. - Roseburg Public Library is seeking input from patrons to guide their collection development. They are focusing on expanding digital materials and large-print books.

According to the library, patrons have until Saturday, Sept. 13, to provide feedback via a survey on the library’s website. Library Director Kris Wiley highlighted a notable 21.7% increase in digital materials' circulation from fiscal year 2024 to 2025, partly due to the addition of online magazines on the Libby app.

Wiley noted that there was also a 13.7% rise in digital audiobooks usage last year. "Historically, I purchased digital materials with high numbers of holds by Roseburg patrons," Wiley said, emphasizing a shift towards more flexible collection development.
