The iconic Kowloon Restaurant on the Saugus stretch of Route 1 celebrated 75 years in business Thursday night – with a major block party to mark the family-run attraction's big milestone.
The Kowloon goes way beyond just a restaurant – on top of offering its famous Asian cuisine, the 1,200-capacity complex has plenty of events and entertainment, and its legendary décor featuring mini lagoons and tiki bars have helped to make it a New England staple.
