On Friday at 3:38 p.m. a coastal flood statement was released by the National Weather Service valid for Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. for Westchester County.
The weather service describes, "Up to one half foot of inundation above ground level expected in vulnerable areas near the waterfront and shoreline."
According to the weather service, "If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property."
