PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- Police are investigating after receiving a ShotSpotter alert in Peoria.

At 2:23 p.m. on Aug. 22, police went to the 2400 block of West Wiswall Street, which is near Manual High School, after ShotSpotter picked up four gunshots, said police spokesperson Semone Roth.

She also said officers are actively searching for suspects.

No one has been reported injured.
