EAST PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- The Putt Club may be receiving a half-million-dollar loan from the city of East Peoria for interior renovations, just a year after opening.
The East Peoria city council met on Tuesday and discussed a loan for the Putt Club to renovate their interior course to accommodate the high traffic they receive on extreme cold or hot days.
"The outside was really well thought out. Well designed. In the summer, during the middle of the day, it's not very nice to be outside. They found that there's been more demand for that interior use. And what they're looking to do is kind of perfect," said Ty Livingston, director of planning and community development for the city of East Peoria.
