WARRICK COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — The Warrick County Sheriff's Office is addressing Wednesday's Town Hall event, where two people were arrested.

Indiana Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith was speaking at Wednesday's Town Hall, for which two off-duty deputies agreed to work as security.

As we reported, Amanda Bennett and Matthew Eike were arrested at the event at the Ohio Township Event Center, on various charges including Battery Against a Public Safety Official, Resisting Law Enforcement, and Disorderly Conduct.

As Bennett was leaving the event after being asked to do so, one of the deputies said she pushed him, at which point he took her to the ground and placed her in handcuffs. You can read more from the affidavits about the arrests here .
