TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - All of the puppies involved in an animal cruelty case in Tucson have found loving homes after facing hardship.

The Pima Animal Care Center (PACC) has announced that every one of the puppies is in their new adoptive homes after receiving the care they needed at the shelter.

This comes after the animals were rescued from a Tucson home where they were found malnourished and suffering from improper care. Officials said PACC's Animal Protection Services (APS) team responded to a call about the welfare of dogs, believed to be abandoned.

Upon arrival, PACC officers found several malnourished dogs, a deceased dog and a large litter of puppies, all who were left on an enclosed porch without proper shelter, food or water for days, according to PACC. The owner returned to
