VAIL, Ariz. (KVOA) - A Shelter in Place has been lifted at Cienega High School after reports of a student bringing a weapon to school.
The Pima County Sheriff's Department said a report of a student possibly in possession of a weapon happened on Aug. 22.
PCSD School Resource Officers, currently on campus, are interviewing the involved student as part of an active investigation, according to officials.
There is no threat to students, staff or the campus.
PCSD and the Vail School District praised the student who quickly reported the problem.
