TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - Banner Sports Medicine, in collaboration with the Arizona Interscholastic Association, made a significant contribution to the Santa Rita High School girls flag football program.
The organization donated $2,500 which was generated from 100 percent of the registration funds of its recent girls flag football combine event.
“Since this is the first year we’re offering girls flag football, this support and donation not only opens the door for our students today, but will inspire and empower young female athletes for years to come. We are incredibly grateful,” said Frank Carney, Santa Rita High School athletic director.
