OKANOGAN-WENATCHEE NATIONAL FOREST, Wash. – Several campgrounds and hiking trails in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest will be closed starting Sunday , Aug. 24. This closure is part of an ongoing search for Travis Decker, said law enforcement officials.
The FBI announced the closures will last from Sunday night until Tuesday. These areas are being shut down as authorities continue their search efforts for Decker.
Decker is accused of killing his three daughters and has been the subject of a months-long manhunt. The Chelan County Sheriff's Office reaffirmed on Monday that Decker remains the lone suspect in the murders following DNA testing.
