Spring Hill Father Faces Charges After Morning Incident on JD Floyd Elementary Route

SPRING HILL, Fla. – A Spring Hill man was arrested Friday morning after allegedly boarding a school bus, refusing to exit, and making threats to the driver. The incident, which occurred just before 9 a.m., prompted a police response and has led to charges against the man.

According to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, Alvon Corley , 35, unlawfully boarded a Hernando County School District bus at a stop near the intersection of Anderson Snow Road and Edward R. Noll Drive.

The bus was on its way to JD Floyd Elementary School. Corley, whose child rides the same bus, reportedly refused repeated requests from the bus driver to exit, blocking the doorway and delaying the route.
