Just when hundreds of players are about to leave NFL rosters, the Philadelphia Eagles added one on Friday.
Defensive end Jereme Robinson became the 16th player from an Alabama high school or college on the Eagles, the most in the NFL. An alumnus of Carver High School in Montgomery, Robinson joins Philadelphia after being waived by the New England Patriots on Tuesday.
Following five seasons at Kansas, Robinson joined the Chicago Bears on May 8 after being passed over in the 2025 NFL Draft. But the Bears waived Robinson on July 22. Chicago waived Robinson when it signed defensive lineman Tanoh Kpassagnon, an eight-year NFL veteran.
The Patriots had signed Robinson on Aug. 10. He was on the field for two special-teams plays in New England’s 20-12 preseason victory over the Minnesota
