BELLEVUE, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) —Earlier this morning, a ribbon cutting was held for Mountain Ride’s battery electric bus facility.
Mountain Rides Executive Director Wally Morgus said there was a generous amount of funding and support that went into the expansion.
“This spectacular facility you see behind me was made possible through federal grants, by way of the Public Transportation Office of the Idaho Transportation Department, and local funding,” Morgus said.
The expansion was completed under budget, and on time. The facility has more charging ports for their 11 electric buses, and can fully charge them in about two hours.
