LEWISBURG, Tenn. (WSMV) - Hundreds of people are expected to speak Friday night at an emergency city council meeting in Lewisburg.

It’s being held just days after the city manager was arrested for stalking an city employee and even breaking into their home.

City leaders are trying to decide how to handle the major scandal that was first mentioned at a June council meeting when an order of protection was discussed.

Mayor Jim Bingham told WSMV he knew there was an investigation into Roy “Bam” Haislip, but he was shocked when the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation showed up to arrest him on multiple charges Wednesday morning.
