SPOKANE, Wash. — A man accused of setting several fires in downtown Spokane has been arrested, according to police.
The Spokane Police Department said officers responded early Thursday morning to a series of fires in the downtown corridor. Three properties were damaged by intentionally set fires in the 400 block of West Main Avenue, the 400 block of West Riverside Avenue and the 300 block of West Spokane Falls Boulevard.
Police said evidence at the scene led investigators to identify the suspect as 45-year-old Troy Silk. He was arrested Friday on three counts of second-degree arson.
According to SPD, Silk was already in custody at the Spokane County Jail on unrelated charges at the time of his arrest.
