Milford, Iowa (KTIV) - We may still have a few weeks of summer, but the Fall fun kicks off this weekend at the Little Sioux Orchard just outside of Milford, Iowa.

The orchard promises good old-fashioned fun with apple picking, a corn maze, apple sling shot, tractor rides, a play area, and local vendors. The team at the Little Sioux Orchard some folks just come for the apple picking, while others make a day of their visit.

“When you first arrive you will come into the apple bar and get your apple picking bag, so you choose from three different sizes,” explained owner Sharon Hoerichs. “And then you will take a tractor ride out to the orchard. And then your driver will show you around and just kind of say, here’s how to pick a good apple, here’s what you are looking for ripeness.”
