NORMAL ( 25News Now ) - One of Uptown Normal’s premiere events takes place this weekend, accompanied by no parking zones and road closures.

Sweet Corn Circus, celebrating the area’s circus and corn-growing roots, is held annually to welcome back Illinois State University students.

No parking signs are posted on Constitution Boulevard, in addition to the following streets and parking areas:

East Beaufort Street, from Linden Street to Uptown Circle

All of Uptown Circle

West Beaufort Street, from Uptown Circle to the Uptown Station Parking Deck entrance (the parking deck will remain accessible from West Beaufort Street throughout the event)

North Street, from Uptown Circle to Fell Avenue

Broadway, from the north side of the Post Office building through the intersection at North Stree
