Businesswoman and television personality Adrienne Maloof was sued Friday by a former housekeeper at her leased Beverly Hills mansion who alleges she is owed compensation for missed meal and rest breaks.
Ana P. Rosales’ Los Angeles Superior Court lawsuit seeks $32,560 for the alleged missed meal and rest periods, another $9,280 in waiting time penalties, plus the costs of the suit, including attorneys’ fees. A Maloof representative could not be immediately reached.
Rosales was hired in August 2021 and worked at the Aubrey Road residence five days weekly at $22 an hour until she was terminated last September, according to the suit, which further alleges that Maloof did not keep accurate records of the plaintiff’s work hours.
