The lesser-known of Emily Carr’s two historic homes in Victoria is a privately-owned historic building, and the owners are hoping for an exemption from short-term rental rules to help pay for upkeep.
The House of Allsorts is 112 years old, and is the only privately-owned historic place in B.C. that is privately owned.
