MOORE, Okla. (KFOR) – Moore Police say what started as a search for a stolen truck out of Dallas, Texas, this week led them to a chop shop filled with other stolen vehicles.

Moore Police say the incident happened on August 19, when officers received a GPS wireless ping on a reported stolen truck out of Dallas, Texas. Officers found the home where the ping was coming from in the area of Northwest 33rd and Webster Street. When police arrived, they spoke with 31-year-old Omar Rangel Alejos, who allowed them to search the property.

Police say they found the stolen Dallas truck in a garage, detained Alejos, and continued to search the property.

"In the backyard, we found a shop that contained other stolen vehicles, totaled over $200,000," said Clint Byley with the Moore Police Department.
