INDIANAPOLIS — For the first time since Oct. 8, 2021, the North Central Panthers have won a football game.

Under new head coach Collin Coffer , the Panthers took a 14-0 lead over the Brebeuf Jesuit Braves in the first half and never looked back.

North Central kept their foot on the gas and never lifted, scoring again off a 56-yard rushing touchdown to pull out to a 21-0 lead at the start of the third quarter.

Brebeuf finally responded in the third quarter, but the odds were stacked against the Braves in regards to a comeback. The energy from the crowd was helping the home team inch closer to scoring their first win in four seasons.

The Braves, who were coming off an 8-3 season last year that ended with a loss in the sectional championship, made a valiant attempt to stage a comeback,
