A new study has found that three Kent towns - two of which are on the coast and the other in the heart of the countryside - are among the happiest places to live in the UK. This is according to the latest research from property specialists at Regency Living , who wanted to determine which parts of the country offered the most lifestyle satisfaction and at how great a cost.
Analysing 20 different cities, countryside market towns and seaside destinations, the study compared happiness scores for each location with the latest property price data. Happiness scores were based on the Office for National Statistics’ annual personal well-being estimates.
