LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — After a series of homicides in Nevada prisons tied to drugs, officials say a man was arrested for supplying them to state and California prisons.

The Nevada Department of Corrections says Hoza Del Collins, 30 and a former offender, was arrested in his Las Vegas home Thursday for three felonies related to drug supply and second-degree murder. NDOC’s Office of the Inspector General and the Eastern Nevada Narcotics Task force issued a warrant and say toxic substances believes to create the synthetic drugs were found in his home.

NDOC says Collins was booked into the Clark County Detention Center. He was previously incarcerated for burglary. Officials say his arrest comes after a series of homicides where drugs are tied to some of the deaths.
