It took until the third quarter for either team to score, but Palmyra was able to surge past Lebanon to pick up a season-opening, 30-0 win on Friday night.
Travis McDannell opened the scoring for the Cougars with a 14-yard run in the third quarter, then converted the two-point conversion to go up 8-0.
It was all Cougars from there, who saw both a punt and kick returned for a touchdown in the win.
McDannell finished the evening with 20 carries for 132 yards and a touchdown while also tallying a sack.
Roman Russek threw for 84 yards and a touchdown, with the score being a 26-yard toss to Talon Speck.
