Regional gas prices held steady last week at an average of $2.92 per gallon of regular fuel on Monday, same as last week's price, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

The average fuel price in the Lower Atlantic region is about the same price as a month earlier. According to the EIA, gas prices across the region in the last year have been as low as $2.86 on May 12, 2025, and as high as $3.19 on Aug. 19, 2024.

A year ago, the average gas price in the Lower Atlantic region was 8% higher at $3.19 per gallon.
