KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Put the rain gear by the door so you remember take it with you on your travels today. Periods of rain and storms will be with us especially in the afternoon.

SATURDAY: It’s a mostly cloudy day with scattered showers and storms developing in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 80s.

SATURDAY EVENING: The storms stay around as we move into the overnight hours. They become more spotty towards sunrise on Sunday. We’ll wake up on Sunday near 70 once again.

SUNDAY: Clouds and scattered showers or storms will linger with in the morning as cold front moves through. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s with a mix of sun and clouds by afternoon. Lows will drop into the low 60s.
