We’re still on track to have a weather pattern change and it’s going to be one most will like. It will take a dent out of the extreme heat and humidity. We should see temps drop into the 80s for highs and lows in the 60s.
In the meantime, looks like a frontal boundary will hover over the state through Saturday. This weather feature will help enhance our rain chances. Showers and t-storms will be likely and definitely knock the heat off where they do occur. High temps should drop back into the upper 80s to lower 90s. The front will eventually push through and end up along the gulf coast.
