KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The New Market Fire Department, along with the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, rescued a calf from a sink hole Saturday morning.

Captain Sammy Solomon said crews responded to an area off Friends Station Road around 7:30 a.m. He said the calf was in a hole that was eight feet deep.

No one was injured, including the calf, Solomon said.
