NEW MARKET, Tenn. (WATE) — New Market Firefighters and Jefferson County Sheriff's deputies responded to an unusual call Saturday morning after a calf fell into a sink hole.
New Market Fire Chief Sammy Solomon shared that the firefighters and deputies were dispatched to an area along Friends Station Road in New Market to rescue the calf around 7:39 a.m.

The firefighters and deputies rescued the calf alive. Solomon said neither the calf or personnel were injured.
