There was a little bit of everything Friday night as the high school football season opened up with a bang.

Three Orlando-area teams scored more than 60 points, several teams didn’t score any, a couple of teams rallied from behind to win and, oh yes, there were weather delays.

The most dramatic game of opening night was at Lake Mary, the No. 7-ranked team in the Sentinel’s Super 16 Preseason Coaches Poll . The Rams spotted visiting Miami Norland with a 29-7 halftime lead before the defense bowed up and Lake Mary rallied to win 30-29. Star senior quarterback Noah Grubbs, who is committed to Notre Dame, threw three touchdown passes, all to senior FIU commit Barrett Schulz, and also ran for a touchdown.
