On the lower Columbia River from Rocky Point/Tongue Point line upstream to Bonneville Dam there were 537 salmonid boats and 154 Washington bank rods tallied on the Aug. 16 flight count.

Section 1 (Bonneville) — 55 bank anglers kept four steelhead and released one steelhead; 12 boats/31 rods kept two steelhead and released one Chinook and one steelhead.
Section 2 (Camas/Washougal) — 10 bank anglers had no catch; 53 boats/108 rods kept one Chinook and two steelhead.
Section 3 (I-5 Area) — Seven bank anglers had no catch; 10 boats/19 rods kept one Chinook, two steelhead and released one steelhead.
Section 4 (Vancouver) — 29 bank anglers had no catch; 59 boats/122 rods kept seven Chinook, one steelhead and released two Chinook and two Chinook jacks.
