DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Two people were hospitalized after a shooting on East Third Street after midnight on Saturday morning.

According to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch, officers were sent to the 500 block of East Third Street for a reported shooting at approximately 12:50 a.m.

Once there, they found two people with gunshot wounds. Medics took them both to a nearby hospital.
