ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Deputies in Wayne County are investigating a fatal motor vehicle crash that took place Friday evening in the town of Williamson on Lake Avenue. When deputies arrived to the scene they discovered a truck hit a tree in the front yard of a residence near Route 104 at around 6:30 p.m.

Deputies say a man driving a Chevrolet pickup truck left the road and struck the tree. Deputies found the driver deceased at the scene.

According to WCSO, immediate family members have been notified, and further notifications are pending.
