NEW YORK – Saturday is Garrett Crochet Day at Yankee Stadium.

The Red Sox ace will make his third start against the Yankees this season (and of his career) in the 1:05 p.m. ET contest.

Crochet’s first career game against the Yankees was in their house on June 7. He yielded five earned runs in an unusual six-inning start, but took home the win anyway as Boston triumphed 10-7.

When the Yankees came to Fenway the following weekend, Crochet was ready for a rematch. He held them to a solo homer and just three additional hits in an 8.1-inning gem that was his deepest start of the season at that point and remains the second-longest start this year.
