HOUSTON (CW39) – A Spring homeowner says his privacy is being invaded after finding a surveillance camera pointing at his garage. Mack George, who lives in the Olde Oaks neighborhood near FM 1960 and Stuebner Airline, said the camera can capture activity outside and even parts of the inside of his home.

Three other cameras were also found in the neighborhood, though not aimed directly at homes. An attorney for the local municipal utility district said the cameras were installed by the HOA, with partial funding from the MUD, to boost security. According to the attorney, the cameras are license plate readers, and footage is only accessed with law enforcement requests.
