HOUSTON (CW39) – A Southwest Houston business owner says he stepped in to protect drivers from a dangerous road hazard. Stewart White, whose company is located on East Anderson near Almeda School Road, said he reported a large hole in the street and then put up signs, caution tape, and cones to warn drivers.
Houston Public Works said the hole was caused by an issue with an underground wastewater line. Crews plan to cover it with a steel plate until permanent repairs are made.
