The Boston Red Sox decided to remove right-hander Walker Buehler from the starting rotation on Friday.

With Buehler’s spot coming up on Monday against the Baltimore Orioles, manager Alex Cora has yet to reveal who will toe the rubber for the series opener. According to Peter Abraham of the Boston Globe, however, Cora has mentioned one name as a possibility.

“Red Sox not saying who will start on Monday. Cora did acknowledge Kyle Harrison was a candidate,” Abraham posted on Bluesky.
