Carterville Police warn of high deer activity on main roads

CARTERVILLE, Ill. (WSIL) -- The Carterville Police Department is urging drivers to adhere to the speed limits and stay alert, particularly on Grand Avenue and other main roads.

Deer activity has increased in the area, leading to more deer crossing roadways. Drivers are advised to stay vigilant, minimize distractions, and be prepared for sudden crossings, especially during early morning and evening hours.
