A poignant minute's silence was observed in memory of football manager Dougie Imrie's baby daughter before Greenock Morton's match against Ayr United this afternoon (Saturday, August 23).

Baby Remi Imrie tragically passed away at Wishaw Hospital on Tuesday (August 19). Remi was born 14 weeks premature at the end of July.

Fans participated in the tribute at Cappielow prior to kick-off today, following the tragic passing of little Remi. Imrie was visibly moved as the silence was respectfully upheld by both players and supporters.
