LONDON, Ky. (WKYT) - A Kentucky man was arrested on Friday after a traffic stop led to a meth bust.

In a Facebook post, the London Police Department says 45-year-old David Taylor was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, plus two other arrest warrants.

Police say Taylor was driving in Laurel County when a lieutenant noticed seat belt violations, leading to a traffic stop.

Then, police say a K9 unit arrived during the stop for a free air sniff. The dog alerted, leading to a search of Taylor’s car.

Police say both officers searched the car and found two bags of a “crystal-like substance” along with needles and other paraphernalia.

Taylor is being held in the Laurel County Detention Center.
