CLEVELAND — Shedeur Sanders made his only home appearance of the preseason for the Browns in their final exhibition game against the Los Angeles Rams .

Sanders was the third quarterback to appear against the Rams. Joe Flacco, named the opening-day starter for the regular season earlier in the week, started the game before giving way to rookie Dillon Gabriel.

The fifth-round pick made his debut in front of the home fans on the opening drive of the third quarter. He played the first five offensive possessions of the second half.
