CLEVELAND — Canton native Harold Fannin Jr.'s first catch of the NFL preseason was a big one.
Quarterback Joe Flacco threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Fannin with 6:29 remaining in the first quarter. Dustin Hopkins made the point-after kick for a 7-0 Cleveland lead.
Fannin was lined up as a wide receiver to the right side of the formation. He ran a skinny post, beating Rams safety Shaun Jolly for the score.
The McKinley High School and Bowling Green State University product had played just six plays in the first two preseason games. He did not have a snap in the second preseason game at the Philadelphia Eagles .
