The ace southpaw delivered seven overpowering innings in a 12-1 rout of the New York Yankees, keeping the crowd quiet while his team extended its winning streak in the Bronx. Crochet scattered five hits, walked one and struck out 11, his only blemish a Giancarlo Stanton solo homer.
