That driver fled from Marysville police, prompting officers to deploy a StarChase GPS dart to track it. These darts use a combination of magnets and adhesive to stick to vehicles, allowing police to monitor their location in real time.

The driver eventually crashed and ran away, according to a post on the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page .
