WATERTOWN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A woman is recovering from serious injuries after police say four dogs attacked her early Saturday morning, Aug. 23, in Watertown.
Watertown Police said the incident happened shortly before 6 a.m. The victim was out for a walk when four dogs charged at her near the intersection of Milford Street and Cobblestone Way.
Police said when officers were on scene helping the woman, the four dogs then charged at them. One of the officers shot and killed one of the dogs.
The other three dogs were seized. The victim was transported to Aurora Summit Hospital with injuries police described as serious but not life-threatening.
Police said the investigation is still ongoing.
