Darian Mensah, the most efficient quarterback in the American Conference, accepted a big pay raise to transfer to Duke. Running back Makhi Hughes, who gained 2,779 yards with 22 touchdowns the past two seasons, left for Oregon. The top three receivers graduated, and tight end Alex Bauman transferred to Miami. That group accounted for 2,311 yards and 19 touchdowns.

The names on the Tulane offense will be almost totally different this year. The question is whether or not they can equal or surpass the productivity of a 2024 group that ranked second in the league in scoring and tied for second in yards per play.
