FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) -- 14 people are without a home following a duplex fire in central Fresno.
The Fresno Fire Department says it received a call for a commercial fire on Bond Street and Olive Avenue just before 5:30 a.m. Saturday.
Investigators believe the fire started outside near a fence, which then spread to the attic space of the duplex.
The victims say there were alerted of the flames by an unhoused man knocking on their door.
No one inside the home was injured. The Red Cross is assisting both families.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
Both families have set up their GoFundMe page. If you'd like to support them, click here and here.
