WASHINGTON — Up to 1,700 National Guardsmen are reportedly set to mobilize in 19 states, including Indiana , "in the coming weeks," according to a FOX News report.
The deployments are reportedly expected to support the Trump Administration's immigration and anti-crime crackdowns. The news comes just days after Trump activated nearly 2,000 National Guard soldiers, placing Washington D.C. under federal control.
FOX News reports the National Guard could be deployed to the following states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Louisiana, Nebraska, Nevada, new Mexico, Ohio, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Wyoming.
The National Guardsmen are expected to be present in those states through mid-November.
Despite Illinois not being men
