JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Washington County/Johnson City Emergency Management Agency reported flooding in the Hales Chapel and Oak Grove areas following flash flooding in the area.
The agency said in a social media post that at least two homes are flooded and that residents were escorted to safety. No injuries were reported.
According to the post, the Red Cross is providing support to those impacted by the flooding. The agency said it is keeping in "close contact" with TEMA.
